Mitch Snow was on the base retrieving old military records. On the evening of September 8, at the Candlewood Suites Hotel near the base, he saw Erika Kirk in the lobby. The next morning, September 9, while trying to access the records area, he noticed unusually heavy security and was quickly stopped and questioned by military personnel. He then recognized Brian Harpole leaving what appeared to be a high-level briefing with Army intelligence officers and top military brass. Baron Coleman’s later research revealed unusual military flight activity linked to Fort Huachuca at the same time, including a sensitive plane whose FOIA records were denied at the presidential level. This raises serious questions about what was discussed there just hours before the assassination.

As soon as Mitch Snow appeared on Candace Owens’ podcast, social media influencers tried to discredit him by raising his complicated past. Would that alone dismiss the entire story? No. A person’s history can raise legitimate credibility questions, but it does not automatically make their testimony false. The smarter approach is to examine the actual evidence rather than attack the messenger. Independent corroboration matters more. Baron Coleman’s separate research into flight records and FOIA denials related to Fort Huachuca is significant because it does not rely solely on Mitch Snow. If those details hold up, Snow’s account warrants closer examination, even if he is not the most polished witness.

A massive coordinated campaign to destroy Snow’s reputation launched right after he went on a major platform. Instead of disproving his claims with hard evidence—such as clear proof that Brian Harpole and Erika Kirk were elsewhere—the focus shifted to character attacks. This pattern often appears when someone challenges an established narrative. Additionally, when pro-Turning Point USA podcaster Paramount Tactical tried to debunk Snow by claiming he was never on the base that day, his own son reportedly confirmed that the base had contacted him—accidentally providing evidence that Snow was there. That accidental corroboration from someone attempting to disprove the story is worth noting.

At the end of the day, the real question is not whether we like Mitch Snow. It is whether the claims about what happened at Fort Huachuca on September 8–9, 2025, can be verified or disproven with facts.

Exploding Mic Theory

The “exploding mic” (or “rigged mic” / “weaponized lavalier”) theory claims Charlie Kirk was killed by a small explosive device—often described as a shaped charge, possibly using PETN—hidden in his wireless lapel/RODE (or similar DJI) microphone, rather than (or instead of solely) by a sniper’s bullet.

Promoters argue that video (slow-motion and frame-by-frame analysis, notably by X user/analyst John Bray) shows anomalous shirt movement, a bulge or “explosion” originating near the mic/lapel/chest area and traveling upward toward the neck wound, rather than a typical bullet impact from distance. They claim this matches a directed miniature explosive (analogized to the 2024 Hezbollah pager attacks) that could produce a wound mimicking a gunshot while leaving limited external flash or char in some interpretations.

Additional points commonly cited:

• Alleged shattered plastic/glass or ABS-like shards in the SUV that transported Kirk, said to match Rode Wireless mic components rather than vehicle glass.
• Improper or unusual placement of the wireless mic under/inside the shirt (near a necklace), which some AV professionals contacted by promoters called suboptimal for audio.
• Rapid scene alterations (paving, soil removal), bomb dogs allegedly kept away, questions about GSR testing on the suspect, shifting witness statements about wound location, and handling of clothing/evidence.
• Links to PETN (a high explosive) via soil absorption explanations or supply-chain speculation, plus questions about who supplied/attached the specific mic that day (focusing on TPUSA AV personnel).

Security Team Strangeness

Body language and demeanor (widely analyzed)
Behavioral analysts (notably the popular reaction video “Charlie Kirk’s Security Story Doesn’t Add Up!”) highlighted:

• A stressed baseline throughout (chin-down guarding posture, frequent “um/uh,” hand-rubbing adapters) even on neutral topics.
• Anger clusters (downward hand thumps, chin thrusts, tensed lips) when discussing the UVU police chief who allegedly failed to cover the rooftops.
• A notably casual tone when describing the aftermath (“we laugh about it now” regarding logistics like Charlie’s size preventing a door from closing).
• Tears and stronger emotion only when talking about his own phone falling out and not being able to reach family—while remaining flatter on the core tragedy.
• When Shawn Ryan directly asked about possible foreign-intelligence (specifically Mossad) ties on the team, Harpole gave a firm “No” paired with a downward gaze and one-sided shoulder shrug that analysts flagged as low-confidence.

Beyond-out-of-the-norm hospital behavior

• Helped bring Charlie Kirk into the hospital on a gurney
• Entered the treatment room with the medical staff
• Provided patient information to the hospital staff
• Climbed on top of Charlie
• Cut off Charlie’s white “Freedom” T-shirt so the defibrillator pads could be placed
• Advocated for / pushed for medications (drugs) to be given along with the defibrillator
• Stepped back so the hospital staff could take over advanced care
• Stood guard outside the room door

Key contradictions

Whether CPR was performed

• Brian Harpole (Shawn Ryan Show, Nov 2025): Explicitly said no CPR was performed at all. His entire focus was packing the neck wound with gauze/hemostatic dressings to stop the bleeding. He did not check for a pulse en route.
• Frank Turek (early statements, Sept 2025): Said they performed CPR (or he attempted/started CPR) during the drive while praying and trying to stop the bleeding.
• Frank Turek (later statements, 2026): Changed his account. Now says no CPR for most of the ride. They focused on stopping the bleeding. He only attempted CPR in the final ~30 seconds as they pulled into the hospital. He has said effective CPR was basically impossible in the confined space.

What each person was doing in the car

• Harpole: Actively packing large amounts of dressing into the neck wound the whole way (he described using 36 feet of packing material plus multiple 4x4s and hemostatic pads). Priority was hemorrhage control, not compressions.
• Turek: Early version—trying to do CPR + stop bleeding + pray. Later version—mostly praying and helping with bleeding control; CPR only at the very end.

Physical feasibility

Multiple commentators (including Candace Owens) have pointed out that full CPR is extremely difficult or impossible in the back of an SUV when someone is simultaneously packing a large open neck wound and the patient is tall (the door stayed open the entire ride because they couldn’t close it over Charlie).

Other smaller discrepancies

• Pulse / condition: Harpole said he did not check for a pulse during the ride. Turek described Charlie’s eyes “looking past him into eternity” and later versions about whether any pulse was present.
• Turek’s later need to change into scrubs: Early explanations linked it to being covered in blood from CPR attempts; this became harder to reconcile once he walked back the CPR claim.
• Timeline of actions once they arrived: Both agree Harpole cut the shirt off at the hospital for the defibrillator, but the accounts differ slightly on how chaotic the handoff was.

These images seem to provide more evidence for the exploding mic theory. They show what can be believed to be shards of glass, which would be the casing of the mic, and what we have recently learned may be a scorched part of Charlie Kirk’s Freedom T-shirt.
